How Ministers Of God
Should Dress For Worship

The dressings of today become the characters of tomorrow.

Introduction
In various religious ceremonies, you observe that the ministers decide their own way of dressing. By so doing, they do things the way they like without considering whether that way is acceptable to God or not. All must return to the path of righteousness in every aspect of human life and endeavour, if people want to please God, for no thought, word or action can be righteous without the Holy Spirit.

The Current Bad Situation
Humanity have introduced freedom of worship. The result is that today there are so many types of religions, churches and worship. To mankind, freedom of worship is the best. But to the Angels, what mankind call religions are nothing but the multiplicity of idolatry.
One thing observable is that the religious leaders make decisions and take actions without consulting God. Many are busy teaching and practicing personal opinions and collective decisions made at meetings, councils, synods and conferences. That is why many are following their own figments of imagination, the fabrications of falsehood and the deceptions of the enemy.
Some churches restrict the range of dresses that their members wear to worship. Many others do not impose any restrictions at all, in order to have increased membership. And I ask, “What does it benefit a religious leader, who has his church or ministry full of disobedient worshippers?”
The situation has become so bad that many wear indecent dresses to church. The worse is that females now ear men’s dresses, against God’s warning in the scriptures that a woman must wear what belongs to men and vice versa. The worst is that many reverend ministers even wear black dresses to prayers, worship and ceremonies, and they are not even afraid to climb the altar in black dresses or dresses that have black colour on it. Indeed, man has become so spiritually depraved and morally decadent that he is always doing the wrong things, feeling that ‘it doesn’t matter’.

How Ministers Of God Should Dress
For prayers, worship or ceremonies inside the temple:
  1. A minister of God should first take bath, with or without holy water.

  2. After taking the bath, he should not mingle with the public outside the church premises

  3. If the bath is taken at home or residence outside the church, he should move straight to the temple and avoid touching other people who are not yet ready for worship and who have not taken bath or who have taken bath but have mingled with the general public.

  4. A minister of God should have dresses specially made and reserved for religious ceremonies. God gave instructions to Moses concerning this, in respect of the High Priest Aaron and his children, who minister at the altar.

  5. The reserved dresses include both inner wears and other dresses.

  6. The normal dress for ministers serving at the altar or inside the temple is white flowing garment, the type seminarians wear while walking along the road. The same is true of female ministers except that the style of their garment is different from that of the men.

  7. Most of the pastors, prophets, visioners, etc wear suit for worship, prayers and so on, but suit is not approved by God.

  8. Likewise, black dresses or dresses that have black colours used for worship, prayers and ceremonies are not approved. It is quite unfortunate that ministers of God wear black dresses, black suits and black garments out of spiritual ignorance or blindness.

  9. As such, their ministrations provoke God and hinder blessings for the congregation, when in fact the ministers are there to attract and manifest the blessings of God.

  10. Dresses used by ministers for worship should not be used for public events, burial and funeral ceremonies, buying and selling in the markets, business activities, etc. There must be a clear distinction between clean and unclean things and between holy and unholy substances.

Learn From Aaron And His Sons
Aaron was the High Priest of God when God established the Israelites as a nation. His sons were the priests. They were assisted by the Levites, the descendant of Levi, the son of Jacob, for their religious ministration in the house of God, Moses directed as follows:

30 He set the laver between the tabernacle of meeting and the altar, and put water there for washing; 31 and Moses, Aaron, and his sons would wash their hands and their feet with water from it. 32 Whenever they went into the tabernacle of meeting, and when they came near the altar, they washed, as the LORD had commanded Moses. 33 And he raised up the court all around the tabernacle and the altar, and hung up the screen of the court gate. So Moses finished the work. Exodus 40:30-33

Bible Reverences
Refere to the following portions of the scriptures:
  1. 6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. Hosea 4:6

  2. 12 "Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of meeting and wash them with water. 13 You shall put the holy garments on Aaron, and anoint him and consecrate him, that he may minister to Me as priest. 14 And you shall bring his sons and clothe them with tunics. 15 You shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to Me as priests; for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations." Exodus 40:12-15

  3. And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 24 "Son of man, say to her: 'You are a land that is not cleansed or rained on in the day of indignation.' 25 The conspiracy of her prophets in her midst is like a roaring lion tearing the prey; they have devoured people; they have taken treasure and precious things; they have made many widows in her midst. 26 Her priests have violated My law and profaned My holy things; they have not distinguished between the holy and unholy, nor have they made known the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them. Ezekiel 22:23-27

  4. 23 "And they shall teach My people the difference between the holy and the unholy, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. Ezekiel 44:23

  5. Then the LORD spoke to Aaron, saying: 9 "Do not drink wine or intoxicating drink, you, nor your sons with you, when you go into the tabernacle of meeting, lest you die. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, 10 that you may distinguish between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean, 11 and that you may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD has spoken to them by the hand of Moses." Leviticus 10:8-11

  6. And the spirit, Gabriel, gave this instruction saying, “If you enter the bus and mingle with people while on your way to worship, you have to wash yourself with water at the mission before entering the temple.”
